Ensure your executive presentations never fail. We provide expert repair, signal path diagnostics, and proactive maintenance for high-lumen corporate projection and AV infrastructure.
System Integration
HDBaseT & Control Repair
The Corporate AV Challenge
Meeting room projectors endure brutal operational cycles. They are often run continuously for 8-10 hours, subjected to rapid power cycles between meetings, and integrated into complex, multi-point network systems.
HDBaseT & Signal Drops
Sending video over 50 metres of CAT6 cable requires a healthy HDBaseT receiver. Power surges across the building network frequently blow the Valens receiver chip on the projector's mainboard, causing intermittent "No Signal" blue screens.
Thermal Throttling
When laser projectors are run all day, dust accumulates on the internal laser heatsinks. Instead of shutting down, many modern units will dynamically reduce power to the laser diodes to survive, resulting in a noticeably dim, unreadable presentation.
Control System Failure
If the Crestron or AMX touch panel on the boardroom table can no longer turn the projector on, the RS232 or LAN control module on the projector logic board has failed. We repair these interfaces to restore seamless room automation.
Motorised Lens Faults
High-end ceiling-mounted units use motorised zoom, focus, and lens shift. The small nylon gears driving these functions often strip after years of micro-adjustments, leaving the image permanently out of focus.
The Hidden Cost of Downtime: A delayed board meeting due to AV failure costs far more in lost executive time than the hardware itself. We strongly recommend our Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules to service equipment *before* it fails mid-presentation.
Corporate Error Database
Identify the root cause of common boardroom AV failures before booking a repair.
| Symptom observed | Likely Hardware Fault | Engineering Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| "No Signal" (Blue/Black Screen) but menu works | Input Board / HDBaseT Failure | The signal from the table floor-box is not being processed. We perform micro-soldering to replace blown HDMI transceivers or Valens HDBaseT chips on the projector logic board. |
| Projector powers on randomly overnight | LAN Wake-on-LAN Loop | Network "chatter" from IT sweeps is triggering the projector to turn on. We isolate the network card and update firmware to properly filter standby command packets. |
| Image is heavily yellow or pink | Polariser Burn (3LCD Models) | Common in Epson, Panasonic, and NEC 3LCD units. The organic filters have been burnt by continuous daily use. We rebuild the optical engine with new, heat-resistant inorganic filters. |
| Status light flashing Red, fans loud | Thermal Protection Lock | A cooling fan has seized, or the filter is completely blocked. The projector cuts the light to prevent fire. Do not restart without professional internal cleaning and fan replacement. |
