BGA Rework & Logic Recovery
Modern smart projectors rely on embedded eMMC storage and complex SOCs. Thermal cycling frequently fractures the Ball Grid Array (BGA) solder joints beneath these chips, resulting in the dreaded "Boot Loop".
Instead of demanding an expensive mainboard replacement, our technicians utilise infrared BGA rework stations to reflow or reball the SOC, restoring logic functionality.
Optical Bench Calibration
In 3-Chip DLP and 3LCD systems, the R, G, and B imaging panels must converge perfectly. A drop or severe impact can displace the dichroic mirrors by fractions of a millimeter.
We utilise six-axis optical alignment rigs to mechanically correct the Scheimpflug intersection, ensuring pixel-perfect edge-to-edge sharpness that digital correction cannot emulate.
HV Power Supply (SMPS)
Projector ballasts are highly stressed Switched-Mode Power Supplies, generating up to 25,000 Volts to ignite a high-pressure mercury or Xenon arc lamp.
